(visually graded only) sources offer, WHICH ARE FREQUENTLY TOP COPIES & VIRTUALLY new or LIKE-NEW

and unplayed or played very few times, AND/OR THE BEST COPIES POSSIBLE of many choice records.

Purchased: USED.  Classic return of Fairport Convention's 1st female vocalist Judy Dyble (R.I.P.) with this musically great sole LP with memorable songs & superb female/male harmony vocals by this excellent melodic progressive folk-rock guitars/keyboards including harpsichord/celeste/flutes/auto-harp quintet. Yet more always uncompromising experimental improvisational recordings by this/these fine progressive/psychedelic rock zone troopers. Once again this player/these players demonstrate a unique affinity and collective mindset for producing such telepathic improvisation. It doesn't always work well but when it does like here it's absolutely glorious! Worth the price of admission for those who are experimentally inclined and not uptight or inclined to become prejudicially divided (as all of us need to be unified worldwide to stave off the stifling New World Order and their tyrannical diabolical aspirations to enslave us all). Beware and please don't be too square! Cheers for the UK Brexit vote to leave the European Union!!

Cover Condition: EX(+) externally laminated gate-fold. There is some very modest edge & corner rub-off/wear. Inner gate-fold is gorgeous EX to NM. No photo insert.

Inner Sleeve: Original white poly-bag sleeve augmented with a sheer plastic liner to further protect the choice vinyl from any poly-bag swirl transfer. 

Record Condition: Conservatively Looks VG+(+) to EX(-) with relatively limited hairlines/sleeve-wear including a few very small light scratches which mostly don't result in any ticks. Overall it plays predominantly EX -NM on side 1 & VG+(+) on side 2 but VG to VG+ in the quieter short connecting segments bridging the tracks. Fully detailed play grading from reviewing the CD-r I recorded on 12/13/21: A1-EX with light crackle before music starts; A2-NM; A3-EX-NM; A4-EX-NM with 1 tick @ 2:15; A5-EX; A6-EX-NM but with a little crackle right at beginning. B1-VG++; B2-VG+ with 2 very light ticks @ 1:35 & a medium tick @2:08; B3-EX; B4-VG with intermittent light crackle including a few very light clicks; B5-light crackle during 1st 3rd=VG(-) & then VG(+); B6-VG with light background crackle; B7-VG+-EX with crackle right at end. All things considered I'd still say that Fidelity is very strong both vocally & instrumentally but if you're looking for a copy that plays EX-NM throughout then you'd best shop elsewhere. Despite being formerly owned I played this copy at most 5-7 times over close to 4 decades & FYI I hadn't played it more than once since I moved to Lakemont in November 2004. This is excellent music here featured in an intimate musical setting providing some cosmic sounds that can send one into the stratosphere if they're ready, willing and able! 

Label Condition: A=NM with 1 spindle mark, whereas B=EX+ to NM with a couple of stray spindle marks.

Matrix #'s: See photo #12 which shows the originally planned Pye label release NSPL 183316-1 # scratched out & replaced with DNLS 3004 B-IT!

MY PRESERVATION POLICY on many records that I revered was simple and I share it with you now so that you understand why you take virtually no risk buying from me providing the album was bought new and not used originally. When I'd buy a "new" album and it was something I liked a lot and still available (most of my new albums were purchased in the early-mid 1970's!) I'd initially play it between 15-25 times to become familiar with it and then sell it to a friend as a still EX+ well preserved nice copy. (Adding outer & inner plastic sleeves was standard procedure additionally limiting cover wear and/or hairline paper sleeve marks.) Then I'd buy another new copy and in some cases if a particular favorite then yet another, meaning that I only played the 2nd copy (now my 1st) 5-10 times and the 3rd (now my 2nd if I kept 2) once or twice, always initially taping or now in more recent years currently burning to disc 1 copy within the first couple of  plays thus significantly limiting play to this day on most of my lps. I did/do this with many single copy rarities as well so most play was/is on tapes or cd-rs. I bought a lot of CDs of favorite things also which further helped preserve my vinyl and limit play of much of it. Sometimes I also acquired rare British and European vinyl which I never saw imported in stores and sold new in the United States or Canada from contacts I established through mail correspondence during the 1970's. I developed contacts in England, France, Germany, Holland & Norway. Be aware that the MAJORITY of albums or occasionally 45's that I list ARE FREQUENTLY my ONLY COPIES so bid accordingly as you'll not likely see most of them listed by me again.
