Description
These albums are used and sold as is. All of the records are somewhere in the neighborhood of G+ condition--they are all marked up but play well, with a little surface noise here and there, mostly in the quiet parts. The only exception is the self-titled album, which has more pervasive surface noise than the others. Descriptions of the labels and jackets are below.
Traffic (self-titled)--United Artists Records UAS-6676. The gatefold jacket has pervasive rub wear front and back and normal wear to the edges and corners. Inside the gatefold looks good, with slight discoloration around the edges. The integral booklet is intact and in great shape. Includes what I presume to be the original brightly-colored UA inner sleeve, which is torn and folded.
John Barleycorn Must Die--United Artists Records UAS 5504. The gatefold jacket looks good and will display well, though the spine is a little chewed up and there is slight wear at the edges and corners. Inside the gatefold looks good, with a little rub wear present.
The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys--Island SW-9306. Uniquely shaped "cube" jacket is kinda rough shape: rub wear, ring wear, a little staining, wear at the edges and corners, and original owner "Yoder" wrote his name on the jacket and the label of the record. Includes original inner sleeve, which is the same shape as the jacket and has some folding and split seams.
Shootout at the Fantasy Factory--Island SW-9323. Uniquely shaped "cube" jacket has ring wear, a little rub wear, and normal wear at the edges and corners. Includes original inner sleeve which has some creasing. The original owner, "RC", was quite territorial and wrote his initial on the front and back of the jacket, both sides of the label, and the inner sleeve.
When the Eagle Flies--Asylum Records 7E-1020. Jacket is in great shape, with slight wear at the edges and corners. Includes original inner sleeve with song lyrics which looks good but is split along the sides.
Welcome to the Canteen--United Artists Records UAS-5550. Jacket has slight ring wear, normal wear at the edges and corners, a little sticker schmutz, a little creasing, a small stain, and the spine is partially split and very worn. This is a phenomenal concert album.
On the Road--Island SMAS-9336. Gatefold jacket has a hint of ring wear at the top and bottom, a little rub wear, normal wear at the edges and corners, and a large hole cleanly punched through the entire jacket and inner sleeve (not sure if that's part of the original design of the sleeve?). Inside the gatefold looks good. Includes original inner sleeve which is in nice shape.
These are from my collection. I bought them used, I took good care of them, and they brought me many years of enjoyment. If you are an audiophile or hardcore collector, you might want to look elsewhere. If you are looking for the warm sound of Traffic on vinyl, please consider bidding.
