DESCRIPTION: Traffic- John Barleycorn Must Die. 1st UK pressing with matrix ending A4/B4, mispressed short version of "Empty Pages", rough textured pink "i" labels" textured gatefold sleeve and correct white inner sleeve. Vinyl weighs in at a very impressive 178 grams. Postage cost includes tracking, insurance and a box mailer. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. This is one of a number of fantastic condition late 1960s/early 1970s Lps that I have to list in coming weeks. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Island 9116. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX+/NM. Vinyl is super clean with a deep dark sheen. Clearly very lightly played and well looked after. It has a tiny pressing bleb on side 2 track 1 which causes 2 ticks on playback, otherwise this is NM audio wise and visually. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Plays immaculately. Music is very clean, loud and clear. Cover is in super clean shape, the best I have seen. Absolutely free from the usual stains, grubby marks and fingerprints. It retains great shape and has minimal edge wear, minimal corner wear and negligible creasing. Inner has only very light wear, light yellowing to edges and no splits. Immaculately clean rough textured labels- just check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Absolute top copy. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
