  Original UK Island pink i label stereo 1st press LP.
After leaving Traffic in early 1969 and the break-up of Blind Faith later in 1969, Steve Winwood began working on a solo project, bringing in Wood and Capaldi to contribute, which eventually turned into a new Traffic album 'John Barleycorn', their most successful album. Traffic went on to expand its lineup late in 1970, adding Winwood's former Blind Faith bandmate Ric Grech on bass. This is the first issue with the earliest A-2 B-2 matrices and inscribed date 6/3/70 and Sterling stampers.
  The E. J. Day Group matt textured gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light corner/edge wear and light foxing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain company inner is intact & in VG+ condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with a couple of faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines and one or two needle scuffs and marks visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & punchy listen!!   The matrix nos. are; ILPS-9116, A-2 mother stamper 15, B-2 mother stamper 15,

This is one of very early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1970 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!!
