On the collectable pink "i" Island label. Housed in a matt textured gatefold sleeve and complete with original inner. The vinyl looks superb and the sleeve is fantastic condition. Great audio with just the faintest suggestion of surface noise on the dead wax intro and on almost silent sections, there are two light tics on the title track but other than that it delivers fantastic fidelity and a detailed sound that will make most CD's want to crawl off and die. A great LP.

The E.J. Day Group matt textured sleeve is in excellent condition with only a small amount of wear to the spine and some slight darkening of the edges knocking it down from near mint.

The bbue printed inner sleeve has some minor creasing and the glue has discoloured the paper slightly but it has no rips, tears or major flaws.

Comments: An excellent solid sleeve that is in remarkable condition for its vintage.

Record:

The disc is not warped in any way. The disc still retains its original sheen with no obvious signs of been played. There are no obvious scuffs and scratches or hairlines. The album plays though with a detailed and powerfulanalogue sound with only very ocassional low level surface noise and a couple of "tics" on side two to remind you that you are listening to vinyl (I have examined the disc under a magnifying glass and can see no reason for the slight flaw on the title track and suspect that it may simply play out).

Visually: the vinyl looks fantastic with little to suggest its age. A great looker.
Play testing: the record delivers pure detailed analogue vinyl sound with just a whiff of very light surface noise on some very quiet/silent sections. The are two minor "tics" on side two.

How I pack:

I use top quality cruciform (pizza box style) mailers along with sheets of highest quality card stiffeners. The disc will be removed from the sleeve and if the inner sleeve is non-generic, I will put the LP in a new generic sleeve to avoid damaging the original. Box sets will be packed in boxes and protected with bubble wrap. I have comprehensive a comprehensive range of packing materials at my disposal, so rest assured, your order should arrive undamaged.

It was 1960: I was eight. My cousin joined the Air Force and gave me his collection of 45’s: a great selection including Elvis and Buddy Holly. Usurping the family Dansette, I became well and truly hooked. By 1964/5 I was also seeing some of my favourite artist live. At the age of 11 I joined by first band playing music on and off over the subsequent years that also gave me experience of working in recording studios. Music is in my blood.
