This pressing was on the first version of the Island Records Pink labels known as the pink 'eye' logo.
Mr. Fantasy is the debut album by English rock band Traffic released in Decemeber 1967. For the recording, group members included Jim Capaldi, Steve Winwood, Chris Wood, and Dave Mason, however Mason left the band before the album was released. The album reached the number 16 position in the UK album chart on 30 December 1967, and reached number 88 in the American Billboard charts. The Gatefold sleeve is in EXCELLENT PLUS condition, showing only mild corner bumps There is light 'age toning' to the Gatefold inner edge and the inner poly lined sleeve is EXCELLENT This is an original First Issue pressing on the the first version of Island Records pink label design. Note the lowercase 'island' and orange/ black circle logo
