Traffic - Mr. Fantasy LP Gatefold • NM Audiophile Pedigree
What is Audiophile Pedigree? It's just a name I made up to describe the LP's I'll have up for auction. I'm selling them for a friend who just happens to be an audiophile. Starting in the 60's, when he bought an album, he would record it to reel to reel tape. When he wanted to play the album, he would listen to the tape because every time a record is played a little bit damage is done. I might add that he was using a Sure cartridge  tracking at under 1.5 grams. Needless to say, these are in excellent shape even though he played them again in the 2000's to make digital copies. I didn't remember that vinyl was such a dust magnet when slid from the sleeve (not touching the grooves) until after seeing the scans. It seems like I got dust & lint on them while imaging; go figure! A cleaning would be recommended before playing.
