Description
This is a really great, clean and straight UK original first pressing of the first Traffic album from 1967. This is the rare mono pressing too!

Original Island 'pink circle' labels with 'mono' text and mono catalogue numbers
Original laminated gatefold sleeve with internal opening and internal flipback construction. Original 'mono' text and catalogue numbers. This sleeve is in great solid 'excellent' condition with some light storage wear, one lightly 'chewed' corner, a light 'water mark' to the bottom of the inside gatefold and a few very light surface creases but no major damage at all, no writing or sticker marks. No splits, virtually no ringwear, a great clean inside and a perfect spine except for one small surface scuff to the top. This is a really nice sleeve. I've probably made this sleeve sound worse than it actually is! The only other one I've ever seen was in terrible condition. These sleeves are thin and fragile and I doubt you will see a better one. Look at the photos of the sleeve below - it really is a clean and straight example.
The record itself is properly graded at at least 'excellent-plus'. This LP is as good as you could ever hope to find. Played no more than five or six times since new and perfect except for just a few very light, small surface marks. Both labels are perfect / mint except for a few small and very light spindle marks.
This is a very thick slab of original 60's vinyl and sounds utterly superb. After 38 years of abuse, these original UK monos just never turn up in anything like respectable condition. This one has been very carefully looked after, had very little use and is fantastic!
