Description

   For sale is Traffic's The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys, released in 1971 on Island Records in a special die-cut cover that gives a 3-D illusion. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers A-3/B-3, followed by "Sterling". This signifies that an early stamper was used on this first pressing and was mastered at Sterling Sounds, N.Y.C.. These are all hallmarks of superior sound quality. I bought this used and immediately put this album, like all my records, into a protective MFSL archival inner sleeve or its equivalent. This preserves the integrity of any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. The inner sleeve is Excellent with  a wrinkled corner. The cover is graded Excellent because of ring wear and corner rubs. The spine is Near Mint. The vinyl is Near Mint.  It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life left to it. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have more albums of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look as they're almost all Near Mint. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
