Description

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL or MoFi) is a re-issue record label known for the production of audiophile-quality sound recordings. MFSL recordings are released under the trademark name 'Original Master Recording' and are usually sourced from first-generation analog master tape played through highly specialized equipment. MFSL has issued titles on LP,[1] cassette tape, DAT, CD and SACD. Each title is licensed from the original record company for a limited period of time, with production runs restricted to a few thousand units.

Recording engineer Brad Miller (1939–1998) created the first recordings on the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab label during the late 1950s and 1960s. These were highly realistic recordings of environmental and locomotive sounds which drew interest from audiophiles

SHIPPING - Discounts on quantity and shipping
Albums are packaged in bubble bag, cardboard fillers on both sides and sealed in LP mailer for best protection. I always play grade albums that are for International shipment. If this is an International purchase, you will be sent an invoice from ebay "Global Shipping" for actual shipping cost. I have decided to use this method because as a buyer you will now have a tracking number and insurance claim options. Combined shipping is available ONLY if you PLACE ITEMS IN “SHOPPING CART” AND THEN PURCHASE.

Those cut-outs and hole punches in a record covers - why did they do it?
In the recording industry, a cut-out refers to a deeply-discounted or remaindered copy of an LP, cassette tape, Compact Disc, or other item. When LPs were the primary medium for distribution or recording, manufacturers would physically cut the corner, punch a hole, or add a notch to the spine of the jacket of unsold records returned from retailers; these "cut-outs" might then be re-sold to record retailers or other sales outlets for sale at a discounted price.
