Description

Island ILPS 9095 - pink "red ball" label

The pink Island label releases are one of the most sought after genres in record collecting and this 1969 issue with its' bizarre title is one of the rarest on the label.

This is Tramline's second album (their first is almost as rare) and is a terrific mix of progressive blues and rock. The excellent guitarist is Mick Moody who went on to fame and fortune with Whitesnake.

The laminated cover has a little creasing/lifting and I have graded it as VG (very good) - there are no stickers or writing etc

The disc is clean & shiny and I have graded it as EX (excellent) - it plays superbly - and the labels are clean.

During my years of record collecting I have bought and sold many rare Island albums including several copies of the first Nick Drake album and several of the first Dr Strangely Strange album. I have collected a couple of copies of the withdrawn mono version of the first Jethro Tull album but this is the only copy of this particular Island album that I have ever seen. It really is that rare!
