This is an ultra rare private label pressing from Detroit/Monroe, MI that is in the Acid Archives!! It was originally thought that there was only one surviving copy, but this is one of four known to us. The record sounds great with no surface noise or skips despite a few light surface marks. The label does have a few light spindle marks on each side. Sleeve is worn with some ring wear, and there with some splits on the spines and a 1.5" tear along the top spine and bottom spine from the opening. There is also a name written in pen on the face of the sleeve. Both labels, Side 1 and Side 2, are the same red color as the Side 1 picture. "Transition" appears to be hand painted on the front of the sleeve in gold paint, while the rest of the lettering is spray painted. The only other three copies we were able to find online did not have hand painted lettering, only spray painted making this one of a kind!!

Mystery possible college project LP with different vocalists and instrumental combos. All apparent originals except the opener, a very primitive “That’ll Be the Day” ith good thumping bass line, and “Loch Lomond” sung with a bad faux-Scottish burr but with a good rocking mandolin/trumpet/heavy bass/ drums backing.

Among the originals, Side 1 stand-outs are “Strawberry Days”, a hippie goddess folk rocker with angelic dual female vocals and a heavy electric guitar rhythm; “Right On”, a psychy folk rocker which has the sound of a teenage Bob Edmund, complete with garagy organ/drum backing; and “Go With the Game”, a rocker with a slightly funky rhythm guitar and bass line, a secondary trumpet melody and a Lee Oskar War-like harmonica solo.

Side 2 highlights include “Smile At the Sun”, with a mellow Annie Haslam style vocal and jazz-tinged electric keyboard backing (a bit reminiscent of early Steely Dan - think “Do It Again”); “KS Rebellion” a male vox folk song with odd lyrics (“Go fight your battle, Go herd your cattle”); and “the closing “Vida Blues”, a thumping bass blues jam with cool dixieland style trumpet leads and a wailing harmonica solo or two.

The LP comes in a cover with a spray painted front, and possibly a paste-on back cover which contained all the info (apparently ripped off from the one known existing copy)."
