Description

Originally formed as White Trash, TRASH was a Scottish pop-rock band that recorded a pair of singles for the Beatles’ Apple Records in 1969. Their single of “Golden Slumbers”/“Carry That Weight” is readily available.

This is their much rarer Apple release, a promotional copy of a Carole King-Gerry Goffin” composition called “Road To Nowhere”.

The A-side is a three minute edit version and the B-side is a full length five minute version.

Vinyl: VG+ with plenty of shine

Labels: There is a star in blue ink on the A side. The flip is unmarked.

Sleeve: Original Apple company sleeve. No rips, tears or seam splits. Some small folds.

Provenance: This copy was in the collection of a Massachusetts disc jockey and collector who had it for more than 40 years before his death in 2024.
