Cover: Non-laminated single cover with “SHOREPAK” and “Patents Pending” text. Just the faintest hint of ringwear on the front near the top edge, There is some corner-wear, particularly at the top and bottom of the spine, and some rubbing on the bottom edge, but no seam splits. There is some light feathering at the opening edge, and the spine shows some signs of wear, but is still fairly square with all text clear and legible. Still a nice cover for its age; strictly graded as VG+.
Inner Sleeve: Original, black and white CBS advertising paper sleeve. The catalogue number and the original price of the record are written in green ink on one side (see photo). There is also some discolouration due to age and a small (1.5cm) seam split on the bottom edge.
Labels: Original orange CBS labels, with one light spindle trail on both sides.
Vinyl: A record that looks near-mint under normal lighting. Under a halogen light I can see just a few very fine and light sleeve-removal marks, which do not affect playback. Side 1 plays near-mint. On side 2 there is some very light scattered surface noise, predominately on the fourth track (‘While The Iron Is Hot’), but this is not loud and doesn’t detract from the music. No pops, skips or distortion. Side 1 grades M-; side 2 grades around EX/EX+. Additional Info: All of the vinyl that I am selling is from my personal collection, and has been cleaned on a VPI HW 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. I keep all of my records in ‘Mobile Fidelity’ rice paper inner sleeves and store them with the records outside of the covers in plastic, re-sealable protective sleeves.
