Trees - On the Shore – UK Physc Folk/Rock - 1st Pressing.
This is a 1st pressing of Trees ‘On the Shore’. Released in 1970 on the CBS label No. S64168. I bought this and Trees 1st album ‘The Garden of Jane Delawney’ (also for sale, see my other items) when they were first released in 1970 and they remain my most favoured music. I copied them to cassettes to save wear on these most precious vinyl’s and now have them on CD.
This excellent British folk/rock quintet has attracted much interest in recent years and is only now receiving the recognition they greatly deserve. These 1st pressing vinyls’ are much sought after, but as I am not a collector, I have decided to sell them.
It must be 10 – 15 years or more since they have been played and I no longer have a record deck to try them on, so I am selling them on the basis of buyer beware.
Visually, the vinyl looks to be in very good condition, though not perfect, and I have no recollection of any problems with it. The sleeve is in good condition, though may be a little discoloured as you might expect for a 40 year old cover. Original CBS inner sleeve is in much the same good condition.

In accordance with eBay standard practice, I will not end the auction early. There is no ''Buy it now" option. I am sure that those familiar with this excelent group and their highly sought after original pressings will be aware of the value of this vinyl, that is why I felt no need to offer a 'buy it now' option, or to set a reserve price.
The vinyl is stamped with the relevant CBS record number.
As stated, I cannot test this album, but to the best of my recall, it is in very good condition.
