Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Trees – The Garden of Jane Delawney – RARE Original UK Vinyl LP album 1970.
Very rare original UK CBS Pressing from 1970.
Polite Note: NO buy it now’s or offers accepted. Auction only. NO price reductions. Price reflects the condition of this record and if it were perfect I would be asking a lot more.
Vinyl Condition: Fair/Good (Record has a number of surface marks and scratches and has been played and enjoyed over the years but is decent and very playable. Side 1 just has light superficial marks and plays very well with just some very light crackle and very few pops. Side 2 however has some visible needle scratches which do cause a number of clicks and pops in places and some continuous clicks in places but no sticks or jumps. There is nothing awful but this would not suit fussy listeners. However if you want a fully playable original for a fraction of the price of a perfect one then this might be for you. There are no sticks or jumps at all on the records but as I said there are lots of clicks and pops on side 2. Still very enjoyable though and a great album. Small pen initials on the centre label on side 2).
Inner Sleeve Condition: G (Generic inner has some creases and age related discolouration).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Sleeve has some edge and corner wear & creasing. There are some dirt marks and scratches and light rubbing but overall sleeve is pretty decent for its age. Previous owners name written in pen on the back top left ).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
