Description
I have for sale an original 1971 stereo pressing of the vinyl record titled "On The Shore" recorded by the group TREES on the CBS label with the number S64168 & the matrix A1/B1. I have owned this record since new (44 years) and can honestly say that I have played it less than a dozen times over that period. Visually both sides of the vinyl are excellent, there are numerous fine marks probably caused when withdrawing the record from its inner sleeve prior to playing. The vinyl playback sounds great, it has been play tested on a Monitor Audio deck fitted with an SME arm. The sleeve overall is in excellent condition front and rear with very minor signs of wear, however there is a small residual stain 1cm in radius located to the top right hand corner of the front which is visible following the removal of a small circular index sticker. The inner sleeve is the original company sleeve showing "Sounds of the 70s" CBS releases, there is slight age discolouration mainly to the top edge. The labels are very clean with just a few spindle marks on either side. Overall I give the whole package an excellent rating based on those used in the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide.
