Description

You are bidding on Tribal, Folk and Café Music of Western Africa, released by Field Recordings of New York in 1950. This is a 12 record set, issued in original slipcase, of a series of recordings made in the 1940s by Arthur S Alberts. This is a wonderful collection of Western African music, with calypso, religious and spiritual influences. Comes with original booklet. This is a limited edition set, one of 2000, this being No 120. Records have been visually inspected and appear to be in VG condition with some light wear, occasional light scratching and scuff marks and soiling, but no heavy wear bad scratches or obvious signs of abuse. Slipcase has remnants of price sticker on top edge, but overall this set appear to be in very good condition. Please note that because I have not had a chance to test play any of these the set is being sold AS IS.
