Description

"A Tribute to Andy Warhol," released on Crazy Mannequin in Italy in the late 80's. Rare album of covers of Velvet Underground songs by Italian psych bands, with an emphasis on the raw, lo-fi beauty of the songs, with blazing versions of "Heroin" and "European Son." The covers are by Subterranean Dining Rooms, Acid Flowers, Falling Spikes, Captain Pepper and the Legendary Hearts, Inside Out, Colour Moves, Superlovers, Francoise & the Bloomers, Comic Spoilers, Pinky Silence & the Mad Horses, and Hitchcock's Scream. Great and obscure record. Vinyl in excellent condition, cover fine save for mild ringwear. Please note my scanner cannot capture the entire breadth of the cover.
