Description
The Triffids and friends, Lawson Square Infirmary (test pressing, 1984).
This is the first pressing, with which I wasn't happy. The second test pressing was sent to David McComb in Perth where it was OKayed by him.
Wikipedia: 'Lawson Square Infirmary was a 12" EP released [on Hot Records] in 1984. It was a result of a one-off recording collaboration featuring members of The Triffids and Sydney musician James Paterson, who financed the recording and was Triffids singer David McComb's occasional songwriting collaborator. The performances were recorded in a couple of takes live to stereo at the Sydney Opera House shortly before the Triffids relocated to London. It was also the first Triffids release to feature Graham ‘Evil’ Lee, who was later asked to join the band.'
