J. J. JOHNSON / Bennie Green / Kai Winding: Trombine By Three, US 1955 Prestige LP, PRLP 16-4, original first pressing, one of the few Prestige 16 RPM issues, all are mega rare. (This was later issued as Prestige 7030 or so, a couple years later). White DG Prestige label, RVG STAMP in trail off. The JJ Jonhson line-up includes players include Sonny Rollins, Kenny Dorham, Max Roach. Great hard fast bop! 24 tracks in all!! The cover art is by ANDY WARHOL, I believe his first ever LP cover (he made several jazz covers later on - as well as even more famous rock covers; later issues of this LP has a diff. non-Warhol cover, so this is the only way to get the art-work). DISC IS GRADED EXCELLENT, a hardly played copy, has a small almost invisible mark causing one pop, not a skip. Cover is graded VG++, superb spines, small scrach in lower right corner, front cover. Has some smudge marks on back, but not much wear. Spines are all great. A truly great copy of almost impossible to find jazz LP. GRADINGS: I have ten years of experience of selling vintage vinyl. I aim at selling top quality LPs only. Gradings are on the M/ EX/VG+/VG scale. I will rarely I sell LPs less than VG+.

MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.

EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.

VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.

VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.

PLAYGRADING: There's no guessing about condition from visual look. The visual look of a record is very important, but it only tells part of the truth. Therefore I playgrade and carefully check all my offered LPs.
