Description
First release of the African Disco Power limited edition vinyls. Record in very good condition. Label has small bit of sticker residue from removed sticker (see photo). Sleeve in good+ condition.
The original artists are Basabasa Soundz. Off an album sometimes called "Together We Win". The original is written, produced and performed by Themba Matebese with BasaBasa feat (Nyaku Twins). An album they recorded at Decca Studios in Lagos, Nigeria in 1979. Themba plays synthesiser and keyboards as well as sings on the track. Themba Matebese made a number of albums during this period including"T-Fire", "The New Testament" and "Uwandile" "The "Tie -Breaker"with the late Uwandile Piliso. It is a shame all the people who have made versions of the song using the original recording, did not have the courtesy to credit the writer, performer and producer of the original.
