True 1st Jamaican Press Ken Lazarus Reggae Greatest Hits Federal 214 EX vinyl
Lazarus sings with his band the Soulites on this classic 1970 album, giving his own accounts of classic soul and reggae in that late 60s trojan style of Reggae, the golden age for me, with a real bass guitar & drumkit, keyboards through the echo and him in fine voice. Battered copies and US pressings easily found out there, but a near mint playing 1st press as here is scarce. Sleeve is very thin card, so the spine is rubbed through. Clean deep grooved labels, two or three marks not affecting playback on a high end table tracking really lightly (i.e. a system that would pick up all the surface noise if it was there, it hasn't). Look at the songwriters to confirm some great tunes with his arrangers touch added.

Clean excellent Lp, with clean labels with few spindle marks, Very Good Sleeve. Plays excellent, with the faintest light surface of poor vinyl, little signs of wear, so possibly as good as these get.
