This is a relisting.........for the following reason..........As stated below, which is the original listing........the record is pressed off centre.........the purchaser felt that this stopped his enjoyment of the tune........he has returned the item in the same condition that it was sent to him. So..........please be aware that this record is pressed off centre..........but only slightly...........this can be adjusted by removing the centre adapter and moving the whole item slightly across to compensate........really the off centre is very slight, many reggae records were pressed off centre........just please be aware. The record does play well with no pops or crackles.........and remember this is very, very rare. Original listing below..............................I have reduced the starting price aswell.
An extremely and I mean extremely rare and sought after tune! From 1981 and issued on the Writers Of Rastafari label here we have a hard and heavy tune by The True Persuaders backed by a dub mixed by Scientist at King Tubbys. The B side has some light surface/pressing marks on the vinyl, the A side is very good. Both sides play very well with just the expected Jamaican pressing surface noise,but not a bad pressing. You can see that the record is pressed ever so slightly off centre but that is easily sorted. The vocal cut is hard and rootsy, the dub side.......well it's Scientist at King Tubbys mixing desk, so that speaks for itself! Rare as rare can be.......treat yourself to this monster tune and dub. There is one copy of this on another site D.....s for £250.
