On an original label Truetone Race OKeh 8318, Louis Armstrong & His

Hot Five play tunes from the historic Chicago sessions of 1926.


They do "Georgia Grind" with Louis on cornet, Kid Ory on trombone,

Johnny Dodds on clarinet, and Johnny St. Cyr on banjo. His wife Lil

Armstrong is on piano and joins Louie in a great vocal refrain.


This was recorded in Chicago on February 26, 1926.


On the reverse side, recorded 4 days earlier, the same group does

"Come Back Sweet Papa."


Although it plays much better, the record appears in V to V+ condition

with a very faint 1" edge crack, no noise.
