Description
As you probably know, this is a very rare record of which there are only about 1,000 copies in existence. This is the original pressing on local Iowa record label Montross Records (catalogued as MR 376 and released in 1976). This particular copy was purchased at a garage sale in Cedar Rapids and has been residing in my personal collection for about 10 years, never seeing the light of day. The cover has a few minor creases and scratches and the corners and bottom have a bit of wear and discoloration (bottom pictured). This is due to the original owner storing the album in a crate that was moved frequently, however it will still look great in display (and the artwork is pretty awesome, really). As far as the actual vinyl, it is in near mint condition and has no visible flaws. The original owner claims to have played it less than 5 times and I have removed it from the sleeve only once in order to make a digital copy. The quality of the music is unquestionable; a superb example of 70's hard rock/psychedelica with some great rhythm guitar by Billy Lee Janey and lyrics that aren't dumbed down. I have held onto it for so long because of its rarity and local connection, but I feel that it would be better served in another's collection as it is not the kind of music that I typically listen to or collect.
Album is sold as-is and shipped through UPS for $4 anywhere within the US (though I remain flexible on shipping options and will accommodate international bidders with a fair price). I plan to ship the album encased in smooth, white-coated chipboard and boxed with sealed air bags.
