A rare and hard to find 1960s Jazz Stereo LP record

Tubby Hayes "Mexican Green", very rare 1960's Uk Jazz LP
Fontana SFJL 911 (8866 500 JCY) 866500 1Y/2Y Stereo.     Recorded Feb & March 1967, released 1968 with extensive sleeve notes from Hayes himself.   Current British jazz saxophone star Theo Travis, when asked to comment on the statement that Tubby Hayes' seminal album 'Mexican Green' was one of the best jazz recordings made in the UK, replied: 'I couldn't agree more. Mexican Green is definitely one of the top 5 British jazz albums ever, and his best.' The Allmusic.com listing states "Mexican Green heralded the final creative milestone of Tubby Hayes' brilliant but all-too-brief career, signaling the maturation of his compositional skills as well as his entrance into the free jazz stratosphere. A quartet session recorded in collaboration with bassist Ron Matthewson, pianist Mike Pyne, and drummer Tony Levin, the album's seven titles are all Hayes' originals, and stretch out in a series of directions spanning from ballads to blues. Hayes' tenor sax crackles with startling energy and power, achieving maximum velocity on the scalding opener "Dear Johnny B," written in honor of late drummer Johnny Butts. Most remarkable of all is the title cut, which forces Hayes outside his modernist comfort zone to embrace the improvisational spirit. Although there are 3 very fine scratches on side 2, even at high volume they are barely discernible - only very slight clicks on the the quietest passages on track 2. Labels show very little evidence of play. Cover -  Laminated front is in good condition apart from scuffs around the top right corner (see photo). Ringing not apparent face on but slight presence if angled. The matt reverse is also in good condition though above mentioned scuffs are visible (see photo). Small font text is clear. Inner sleeve - Plastic lined and intact with a little fading. It has the original supplier's stamp.
