Here we have a very rare original 1963 copy of Tubby Hayes Quintet- Late Spot At Scotts on the black UK Fontana label.
Recorded live at Ronnie Scotts this is an astonishing live recording with an incredible soundstage- the musicians are truly in the room with you. There is a real sense of interaction between the players and a wonderful live atmosphere captured on the recording.
The record has been Degritter cleaned and the vinyl has come up spotless and very shiny with only paper marks and wisps and a very minor scuff - this is borderline EX on appearance and definitely plays EX.
The vinyl plays through beautifully & behaves exactly as it should with wonderful clear mono sound and low noise floor.
The flipback laminate sleeve is in super condition with only minor creasing and corner rubbing and some light age related foxing on the rear. Very clean overall & no writing, stains, tape or tears.
We have decanted the record into a brand new poly lined inner sleeve to keep it pristine after cleaning.
A rare opportunity to find a copy in such great condition.
The record will be sent separated from the outer sleeve to avoid splits in an archival outer sleeve.
