Description
This is from my own collection. As such, the vinyl is pristine (NM), having been played (with a good cartridge & light tracking) only a couple of times. (If I wanted to hear an album repeatedly, I generally dubbed it to tape to preserve the vinyl.) The matrix imprints are as follows: side A: 6360043 1 Y//1(triangle)420 1 1 2 side B: 6360043 2Y//1(triangle)480 1 1 1 04 All grading is conservative and learned from 50 years of record collecting (yep, I'm old enough to say that). Picture 3 attempts to show the immaculate look and sheen of the vinyl. Both labels are also NM, no extraneous marks or spindle hole wear. The inner sleeve is the original also: slick protective inner lining is intact & the outer paper layer of both sides has the swirl printing (like side A of label)--pictured under vinyl in pic#2 Since this album is 40 years old, there is some yellowing of inner sleeve and of the adhesive between the layers. The bottom edge of sleeve shows some creasing/folding (in pic#2, to the left of record, the liner is folded under, NOT torn away. The upper corner of inner sleeve has a filing number written in pen (not visible in picture), "N 8207", about 1/2" high lettering. Overall, inner sleeve is VG+ Pic 2 shows the unique fold-out cover opened fully. This beautiful jacket still shows the lovely crystalline-like texture on the front and back--front & back surfaces are near perfect. There is some wear through the black surfaces along top & bottom edges, top corner of spine, some at bottom corner of spine & some marks along read-out surface of spine. The printed "=Vertigo=Tudor Lodge=" and (at bottom) "6360 043" are entirely readable. The printed fold-out surfaces (displayed when opened out) are also excellent, with the texturing and no ink or dirt. Back side of folded-out jacket (which is not printed upon nor textured) shows some inevitable yellowing. Overall, jacket is conservatively VG++. I will stand behind my grading: if you are in fact disappointed with condition after reading descriptions and studying photos, a return would be allowed and a refund given (less half of ebay's charges.)
