Description
Up for sale is a highly collectible piece of Australian 90s alternative/stoner rock history: Tumbleweed’s 1992 Carousel 12" EP.
Released on the legendary Waterfront Records (Catalog: DAMP 172), this is the rare, limited-edition red/brown translucent colored vinyl pressing.
What makes this particular copy an absolute premier piece for collectors is that it still includes the original 1992 promotional fold-out insert poster featuring the band's iconic psychedelic bug-eyed beetle artwork. These posters are incredibly rare to find intact, as most were tacked to bedroom walls decades ago!
Release Highlights:
Format: 12" Vinyl EP, 33 ⅓ RPM, Translucent Red/Brown Vinyl.
Artwork: Striking pen-and-ink gatefold cover and interior art illustrated by the band’s own Lenny Curley (signed "Lenny Art 92" on back).
Production: Recorded at Sydney's EMI Studios 301 (engineered by John Hresc) and mixed at the legendary Smart Studios in Madison, Wisconsin by Mr. Colson.
Tracklist: Side A: Carousel / Side B: Millennium, Shakedown.
Condition:
Vinyl (Media): Looks beautifully preserved. Surfaces are clean and glossy with excellent clarity through the translucent wax, showing only minimal signs of light handling.
Sleeve (Cover): Gatefold jacket is in great shape with vibrant print. Shows standard light age wear, minor corner creasing, and faint edge wear typical for a matte paper sleeve of this vintage.
Poster: Fantastic condition. Holds its bright factory colors (yellow/red/orange) with sharp lines. Standard factory folds from being stored inside the sleeve, with no pinholes or tape residue.
An absolute must-have package for fans of 90s Aussie grunge, Wollongong rock, and rare Waterfront Records pressings!
