Description

Lovely 1958 1st UK issue of this great recording of Rosalyn Tureck performing J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations BWV 988.....this is Record 1 of a 2 Record Set which were sold separately back in 1958 .....on Gold/Red HMV ALP 1548 labels with Mardons Front Laminated Flipback Cover and Emitex Polylined Inner Sleeve ......

The vinyl has light hairlines.........a little background noise on run ins, between tracks and occasionally in quiet passages ......plays nicely all the way through with no skips , sticks or jumps .......powerful sound..... VG+.....

Mardons Front Laminated Flipback Cover is in VG condition .....looks better at first glance with good whiteness to rear but there is the beginnings of laminate lift/loss at the front opening and a remnant of a tax stamp in rear bottom right corner.........see pics .

Gold/Red HMV ALP 1548 labels in lovely condition .....faint crease near bottom of side 2 label occurring on application....see pics.......2XEA 1315-5N and 2XEA 1316-6N Matrices, 1 3/1 2 Mothers and O/R Stampers ......

Emitex Polylined Inner Sleeve in nice condition.......see pics
