Description

Original pressing of 12 inch picture disc of famous rock personality Dee Snider's heavy metal band Twisted Sister, called Under the Blade. This disc contains the entire album, not just an EP of slected songs. This album was Twisted Sister's first album and was released September 18th, 1982. It is considered one of the first significant glam rock releases.  It has been described as a very rough and brutal debut album.  Dee Snider became quite famous for his startling look, which is prominently featured in full force on the front of this picture disc.

I believe this album has been re-released a few times as a picture disc.  This pressing is an original one from 1982.

Picture disc sonic quality is not as good as black vinyl, but these albums were designed primarily to be displayed on the wall by fans. The album does play the whole album, of course.  I have never broken the plastic sleeve on this copy.  It is a sealed original and has never been played or displayed.
