Description
Tiger Records F/W 10993. Original 1973 Private Pressing. Only 100 Copies Made. This was a Philadelphia band that used both "Tiger" and "Tyger" as their name. For more information about this album please read the paragraph with instructions below. This album was recorded at Sigma Sound in Philadelphia. That was a particularly hot studio (The Sound of Philadelphia) at the time and am amazed they were able to book a session. Jazz musician Bobby Martin who was the key arranger for a lot of Philly R&B at the time produced this session. All of the songs are originals written by the band members. This album was not issued with cover art and used a generic white jacket. Band member Richard Carpenter drew one by hand with magic marker and gave it to his girlfriend. Follow the Bubbling Dusk instructions below to see it. Style-wise many songs reminded me of Ian Matthews solo albums of the early 1970's. The record grades VG++. It plays cleanly and quietly. A sound clip of the final song "Sunday in the Country" has been provided.

Save on shipping with multiple wins. For domestic shipping each additional LP is 25 cents for media mail. For international shipping, I have to calculate a price based on weight. Near Mint or Mint Minus: My top grade. The record or cover will show the most minimal of wear. The record will have top gloss. The cover will be free from any ring wear, splits, or handwriting.
VG++ : Not quite Near Mint but a super clean, desirable record.
VG+ : The record or cover will show signs of wear but no significant defects.
VG : Obvious signs of wear but the record still has life in it. VG does not mean beat.
VG Minus : The record or cover will show moderate to heavy wear. For a common record this would not be an acceptable grade. For an in-demand, rare record it should be considered.
