Type O Negative - World Coming Down 2x LP Smoky Gray Swirl Vinyl + Revolver Book Set (set is limited to 1000)

World Coming Down was Type O Negative’s first album to crack the Top 40 on the Billboard 200. The 1999 album is also arguably the darkest record in the Brooklyn band’s catalog, as vocalist-bassist Peter Steele was processing the recent deaths of family members (reflected in the foreboding “Everyone I Love Is Dead” and “Everything Dies”). However, Type O still stay true to their playful roots by ending the record with a doomy medley of Beatles songs. This exclusive 2LP Smoky Gray Swirl vinyl variant (limited to 2000), includes a custom Type O Negative Hand-Numbered OBI Strip. The one for purchase here is #1242/2000.
This fan bundle also includes Revolver’s new Type O Negative special collector’s issue. The deluxe 100 page collector’s edition tells the complete story of the Brooklyn goth-metal icons — from their gritty origin and triumphant rise to their premature demise following the tragic death of frontman Peter Steele — through classic and new interviews with singer-bassist Steele, guitarist Kenny Hickey, keyboardist Josh Silver, drummer Johnny Kelly and more. Thicker than a standard issue of Revolver, the collectible magazine features a limited-edition World Coming Down-era cover with embossed type and UV coating.
