1968 UK 1st STEREO PRESSING LP
This super 1968 1st STEREO pressing of thier 1st album is on the red & silver Regal Zonophone label: SLRZ 1003
The disc is housed within in a front laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
The package is complete with its original lyric sheet insert & inner-sleeve.

A clean & bright pair with just a small collection of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean & deep-glossy playing surfaces which retain all of their 'as new' deep-goss shines. Close inspection in strong daylight finds just one 5mm mark at the beginning of track 4 on side 2 which is just feelable beneath my fingertips and two small scratches on track 1 of side 2. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals some insignificant, harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no further significant marks or wear.
Play: EXCELLENT -
This copy has clearly received very little play and my single careful playcheck found no evidence of any groove/playwear distortion or any other significant deterioration to the sound quality overall. In fact apart from a light click which repeats throughout the first half of track 1 on side 2 and a touch of light background between tracks, there really is little else to fault audiowise.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
A strong and undamaged example of this amazing cover which retains a clean & unworn glossy front panel displaying only 2 small 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the opening edge. There is a tiny bruise to the upper left corner but all are otherwise free form any heavy bumps or other damage. Both opening edges have a hint of wear but certainly no tears or feathering. The rear panel is bright and fairly clean with just some faint handling marks but no writing or missing paper. There is a small mark on the upper flipback where a sticker once stood but otherwise, all are intact & undamaged. Both seams & the fully worded spine are all are smooth, unstressed & unworn.

VERY GOOD
Some general storage creasing but no major faults.
