Description
For sale is a rare copy of Tyrannosaurus Rex's second album Prophets, Seers & Sages The Angels of the Ages which is on the Regal Zonophone Label and was released in 1968
This is a MONO copy of the record and has the textured sleeve.
The cover is FULLY LAMINATED both back and front and is a flipback cover.
I believe this to be a first pressing as the matrix numbers are:
Side 1 - XCARX 47 - 1
Side 2 - XCARX 48 - 1
The mother stamper codes are
Side 1
on the left side there is a 1 and the opposite side a 0 is stamped
Side 2
on the left side there is a 1 on the the opposite side the letters GD are stamped

The vinyl is in VG+ - EX condition. There are marks to both sides however i have played the record fully and the sound is superb! there is some background noice and the occasional faint pop but overall its plays brilliantly.
The labels are VG+ - EX. to the side 2 label there is a couple of scuffs which have worn away the L in the word lists at the bottom of label and on both sides there is some wear around the centre whole but overall they are very clean and presentable
The music sheet is in good condition. their is creasing and a bit of wear in the corners. As the pictures show their is some foxing which has occured to both sides and a couple of marks. To side 2 there is a few pen marks around the lyrics for Salamanda Palaganda and the word amazon is underlined in the lyrics for scenscof dynasty. However to this wear is minimal and the lrics are all perfectly readable, and to have the lyric sheet is quite a rarity
The cover is in EX condition and as i had said earlier the cover is fully laminated. their is some wear to the corners and slight wear along the edges. The opening edge is a little worn however their are NO splits or tears. The spine is superb and is crisp and totally readable just in the corners their is some wear but the spine is brilliant. Their is a few very light creases. as the picture shows the laminate from the back connects with the front on the front cover.
This is a superb and scarce item of one of Mark Bolans classic albums
