I Roy- Dread in a Africa
Super rare LP!!! In 30 years of collecting reggae, never seen another copy of this and didn't even know it existed! Never seen on Discogs and is very hard to find out much about this record. All I do know is that it came out a year before U roys seminal Lp, Dread in a Babylon, in 1976. Produced by a. Ranglin and backed by skin, flesh and bones. The album has vocals on one side and dubs on the other but the dubs don't seem to relate to the vocal side? The condition of the record varies for both sides. Visually the record has lots of light marking but side two seems to be better pressed and plays clearer than side one. Side 1 I would rate as G+ and side 2 as vg. As far as I know it never came in a picture cover so is in a plain generic sleeve. Listen to the sound clip before bidding to judge for yourself.

Having problems uploading the sound clip. Will try and sort this out ASAP. Record does have a slight warp but this hardly affects play. Does have 3 small skips on vocal side.
