1st PRESSING
BLACK LABEL
This is the initial IRISH Pressing, with the BLACK LABEL.
The 7-Inch Single was released with a black label.
A later release also used the black label but had different markings in the matrix area of the vinyl.
The sleeve for this first pressing is cut so that the thumb cut is
in the back of the sleeve, and differs from later pressings.
On this pressing there is no “Originial Recording made by Island
Records Ltd.” in the bottom of the white box on the back,
which appears on all repressings. The font used for the catalog
number is also different on this release. On the front of the sleeve,
the spokes of the ‘sun’ also have a hint of the colour,
which was not present on later pressings.
