Description
U2 - ACHTUNG BABY - VERY RARE GATEFOLD EDITION - ARGENTINA 1991 - Island / Polygram No. 29348
Original Argentina Issue, the only gatefold edition of the Achtung Baby Vinyl LP made in the world, everywhere else had the single sleeve edition.
VINYL
Visually the vinyl looks very good, no obvious defects, hairline marks are evident but no deep scratches. VG
SLEEVE
Is uncensored with a naked Adam on full show, the spine is intact and edges have no splits but are showing signs of wear. Lyrics are printed on the inner part. Scuff marks on the inner part, hopefully the photos give an indication of the sleeve condition. VG
INNER SLEEVE
Original picture paper inner sleeve has disc impression marks and splits. G
MATRIX
Side One: 29348 - A
Side Two: 29348 - B
LABELS
Tracks listed in spanish on the label. Not written on but there are spindle marks on very close inspection.
AUDIO
On visual inspection I expected a better audio performance but background noise can be heard between songs and in quieter parts of songs. It has an acceptable sound quality and Side 1 plays through ok but on Side 2 Throwing Your Arms Around the World and Ultraviolet have pops in the early parts of the song. G
SUMMARY
Very Rare U2 Collectable that would grace any collection. Not the best audio wise but it's still an incredibly hard item to get hold of.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!
The vinyl will be mailed out in 12" cruciform packaging with card stiffeners.

GRADING
All of my records are graded using the standard UK Record Collector Grading system as follows:
• MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
• EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
• VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
• GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
• FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
• POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
• BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
