The disc was visually inspected and appears to be in NM condition.  Los Angeles Pressing Plant ID (Both sides etched): CAP.L.A.

The cover is shiny and in excellent condition, with minimal shelf wear.  There is a small crease above the title on the front cover, and minor corner/edge wear.  It has a gold promo sticker on the front cover.

It has the original custom inner sleeve, which has no seam splits. It is a paper sleeve that features a photo of a boy on one side and partial lyrics and credits on the other side.

(Wikipedia Excerpts)   Boy is the debut studio album by Irish rock band U2. It was released on October 20, 1980 by Island Records and was produced by Steve Lillywhite. Thematically, the album's lyrics reflect on adolescence, innocence, and the passage into adulthood.

Boy received generally positive reviews and included one of U2's first singles to receive airplay on US radio, "I Will Follow". The album peaked in the US at number 63. In 2003, Boy was ranked 417th on Rolling Stone's list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time".

Most are promotional and collectible LPs which have never (or seldom) been played. Many are white label promos, first pressings, and often factory sealed. The collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983, 39 years! Please check back occasionally to see my new listings. I add approx. 25–50 new LPs per week. 

Grading methodology is as follows: 
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played. 
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks. 
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy. 
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc.

Warping could occur if vinyl records are exposed to heat and direct sunlight, so please make adequate arrangements to safely receive your packages. Per USPS, Priority Mail packages are delivered in 1-3 days.
