Description

Signed by all four U2 members.

This is the cover only from Wide Awake In America (USA issue). There is some light ring wear showing and a one inch stain near the bottom left corner, but if the item was framed this would be much less noticeable.

These were obtained in America by a friend, now sadly not in the best of health, who was Elton John's recording engineer for several years, partnering Gus Dudgeon (his first LP was Captain Fantastic - not a bad start! He also worked on many of the most famous records released through the 70s and 80s, eg Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, David Bowie, Abba, T.Rex etc etc).

I don't know the exact circumstances of his obtaining the autographs but I do believe them to be entirely genuine. I have quite a few various groups/artists, all on American LP versions so they have been brought back from the USA to England.
