I am clearing out many PROMO records from my collection, so please check out my other auctions. Here’s a GREAT U2 WHITE LABEL PROMO RECORD! It’s “(PRIDE) IN THE NAME OF LOVE”. This is Island Records PR 635 released in 1984. This is the 3:46 minute version in STEREO on both sides. It is definitely one of U2’s best!! As you may know, PROMO RECORDS were ONLY released to radio stations for DJ airplay. So they were produced in VERY SMALL QUANTITIES! Many were trashed after a period of time. Plus, most DJs wrote on the labels or placed stickers on them. This PROMO RECORD comes in a white generic cardboard sleeve. THE WHITE LABEL PROMO LABELS & VINYL ARE NEAR MINT. So if you’re a U2 fan (or know someone who is), don’t pass up bidding on this one. Christmas is coming and it’s a GREAT addition to any vinyl collection, for sure! FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY GRADE the LPs I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
