Owned by a non-collecter, just a fan; have had this for ... 28 years, purchased in 1984--it was a BIG deal to buy something from overseas when you're only 14, and that was pre-internet. Played each once way-back- when to transfer the songs to a cassette for my Walkman--remember those--have checked the discs maybe once per decade since then.

Am only giving this up now because there hasn't been a place for it in my life for far too long ... and have all the U2 songs on MP3s these days (first decade of U2 is still the best IMO).

Gave the set a good look over just now (it's been a few years), not sure how to rate the wear but it seems good to me--keep in mind you move a lot between teens and middle age--but I did always take care of it--like all my other favorite momentos.

The plastic/vinyl and paper packaging has yellowed some and is worn a bit from years of travel--but just a couple of minor tears on the edges--not enough to keep it from being displayable.

The outer edges of each 45's cover are worn a bit where they stick out from the outer package, but just those outer edges. The 45s look as good as when I played them that one time nearly 30 years ago. There *may* be some fading on disc 3, but I don't think it was ever all that bright--I think the colors have remained.
