U2 "THE NEW U2" Rehearsals & Full Versions
LP box with 5x12" clear blue vinyl records. This unofficial LP box is really cool and contains rehearsals, demos, song scetches and outtakes from the Achung Baby sessions. I believe that these tapes leaked from the studio sessions, or if it was Bono who misslaid them somewhere. I do not remember how the story goes now. There is no tracklistening obviously, but you can clearly hear early versions of The End Of the World, Horses etc. There are also tracks which never ended up on Acthung Baby, like Baby Please Don't Go", "Heaven or Hell" etc. This box came out in a limited edition sometime in late 1990 or beginning of 1991. I bought in a record shop in Stockholm at the time it came out and I have never seen a copy of this box since then. I have only played it once and the box and the vinyls are in mint condition.
On the flip side of the box there the following text. "For titles have a look at the forthcoming album. Date of release will be expected in Autumn of 91´". "Box - Set incl. Bonus LP. Limited Edition".
