Description
This is a lot of two U2 LPs: "The Joshua Tree" and "War". They are still in their original factory shrinkwrap, and are presumed to be Mint condition. I only say "presumed" because as sealed records, I can't inspect or playgrade them!
These are both original pressings from the 80s (no indication of exactly what date they were manufactured), and are Columbia House issues. The copy of "The Joshua Tree" retains its original "U2" sticker on the front. The shrinkwrap is tight and totally intact on both records--no tears or any signs of wear. Thus, the cover art itself is totally protected and is in Mint condition. The corners appear to be rather sharp, and the top corner on "War" only appears to be ever so slightly scrunched from the tight shrinkwrap. These records were both stored quite well over the years from the look of it, so these are really stunning examples of U2 records.
You can get these albums new these days in reissue form, but they have been digitally remastered--without going into any sort of debate over the merits of digital remastering, I will say that these records were made from the original analog masters (being pressed in the 80s), and if you've heard a really clean copy of either of these records, the sound is quite good. You can be the first to hear these copies--hear the best possible sound from these records (that is, if you choose to open them!)
These will be a great addition to any U2 collector's stash!
