WOW this is your chance to own a TRUE COLLECTORS ITEM FROM THE BAND U2
So here is the story on this record. Back in 2014 Interscope records had U2 Songs of the Innocence coming out. In order to make the record available for a grammy nomination they have to put out the record in a certain time frame. Well the production for the album was running a few weeks late but they did not want to miss the deadline. So what they did was press 300 copies of this record. This allowed them to say the record was out on a specific date and then they could have the SONGS OF INNOCENCE record available for grammy nominations. Later the following year Record Store Day had a release like this - BUT that release was a re-issue.
This auction is for the original release of only 300 made.
300 records were shipped of this VERY VERY RARE U2 LP. They went to 2 record stores Ameboa on the west coast and Looney Tunes on the east coast. Looney Tunes got the bulk of them. This is were I purchased this record from. I bought a few. And now am selling them off.
I will package this item with GREAT CARE!!!
