Description

For sale is a fine U2 Stories of Boys LP complete with cool looking picture disk.  Basically played once a great many years ago.  The sleeve is a little rough around the edges but complete.  The LP's are in excellent shape.  No scratches that I can see...just a few smudges but no damage or warping.  The second LP is a great looking picture disk.  Photos show it clearly.  I copied the following from the web:
A version of this release exists without the picture disk: U2 - Stories Of Boys

Comes in a single jacket cover with 1 black lp and 1 picture disc.

On the spine of cover: U2.Stories Of The Boys. WEMBLY 87 AMAZING STORK RECORDS.USA. 7487 ABCD.

Audience recordings. The following information has been confirmed via U2Torrents:

Sides 1 & 2 are taken from the show at Wembley Stadium on 12 June 1987 and Sides 3 & 4 are taken from the show at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles 20 April 1987.

Some notes on how these shows were identified:
At the end of Where The Streets Have No Name and the beginning of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, there is a noticeable echo on Bono's mic. This has been mentioned in another boot from the Wembley show.
Bono mentions being at Wembley Stadium during the intro to I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.
Bono mentions Margret Thatcher at the very end of Bullet The Blue Sky: "... and they run... into the arms... of Margret Thatcher."
Bono mentions that "these gentlemen would like some water" at the end of Trip Through Your Wires.
Bono mentions Amnesty International during the second version of Sunday, Bloody Sunday (Side 3 / C1).
Bono brings Bob Dylan on about halfway through I Shall Be Released.
Dylan stays on for the next song, Knockin' On Heaven's Door.
"40" is complete on this recording, which it apparently was NOT on the Wembley Stadium audience recording. This serves to reinforce the idea that Sides 3 & 4 are from the Los Angeles show.
