U2 - Joshua Tree Album - 1987 Original - Great Condition
About Record
Though this album is listed as used, it has never been played and is really new in every way. See photos carefully and judge for yourself. This album was purchased in 1987 and I am the only owner. Though the album has been open (wish I had never done that, but I was a teenager at the time) it has NEVER been played. Record is visually in Near Mint to Mint Condition. I can't honestly say anything about it's sound quality because I have never played it. Please see photos carefully and judge condition for yourself.
About Album Jacket
Album jacket is in excellent condition with only very minor rounding on some corners and a couple of small creases at bottom front and top back of jacket, see photos. Most people would not mention these minor things, but I will. Album jacket does not have a "record ring" on either side. Inner part of gatefold in excellent shape. Overall, jacket is in nice display condition with no staining, tears or glue marks anywhere.
About Inserts
Unlike most other Joshua Tree albums this record came with a black paper sleeve and two inserts. Both inserts are exactly the same and have lyrics on one side and a picture of the band on the other. Inserts are both in excellent condition, with no rips or tears. If you like, keep one with album and frame the other.
This is an original Island Records pressing and not a Columbia House version of this album. Verified by catalog number on spine of album.

U2 - Gothenburg Press Conference 1987 "Clover" Shape Picture Disc (Import) Never Played
This limited edition interview picture disc is from England was made in 1987. Record catalog # for this disc is U2 72S. Though this picture disc was unofficially released it has always been sought after by U2 fans because of it's unique "clover" shape. Picture disc will come in the original PVC sleeve with import sticker attached, just like the day I purchased it. The disc was never sealed, just housed inside the clear sleeve.
It has always been inside the PVC sleeve and never been displayed. With that said, I do see some (for lack of a better term) "ghosting" on the disc (see photos, but it was very hard to capture on camera even at an angle). This would have to be from being inside the sleeve. The disc would still make a good display piece. There is a tiny cracked on one side of the hole and a small "bubble" on the other side of hole (see photos). These would have had to have been there since I bought it. These small blemishes are on a lot of vintage picture disc, still being a collector myself I want you to know about them as I would want to know. This shape picture disc is more rare than other interview disc and would make a nice addition to any U2 fans collection. Oh, and remember you're buying the Joshua Tree album, this picture disc is FREE!
