Description

An original 1st issue of JOSHUA for the UK market in 1987 - from the charting period. Matrix A2/B7. Some copies can be a bit flimsy in this era, but I thought this example was rather impressively solid. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover. We also have the original black inner too and lyric sheet. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition having seen only light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though [fully tested]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. This record is VERY fussy with lots of very lowkey passages - not many copies will deliver it fully clean. This is on a lot of folks fave list and you really need a super clean copy to do it maximum justice. Albums that were very popular have the downside of seeing a lot of use. So a really lightly used example on this title stands out. Plays MUCH better than you typically find. There are clean copies...and then there are the cleanest copies imaginable. I think you know what I'm saying. Highly recommended for audio. You can look all you like, but you could never better this copy for out and out audio...FINAL UPGRADE,
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition with clean, and importantly, untarnished surfaces. Don't get caught out on this title - they were hellishly difficult to keep in decent condition. Sometimes you get low-level hidden foxing, colour fade, or surface wear. Hardly any edge wear and sharp firm openings which is unusual. The opening panel is remarkably firm and flat. Spine 98% intact - just slightest compression at the very top end [hardly anything]. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Not affected by ageing or foxing. No splits.
Sheet (Ex/Ex+) spot on ...no issues. Not a hint of ageing.
