For sale a rare Zimbabwe official Island pressing which was signed in front cover in a silver marker by: Bon, Adam, Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, Anton Corbijn.
Signatures are obtained by me (Bono added my name on the top left corner, by his own ‘request’).
The signatures have been pre-certified by AutographCOA, whose COA link will be sent to the highest bidder.
Sleeve allegedly it was pressed on recycled paper, and that you can see by the ‘inconsistency’ of the sleeve here and there.
Moreover, it is not glossy but tends to be coarse, which was noted immediately by Corbjin when signing it (you can see how of an artist-crafter he is).
This pressing is on a white Island label, so 100% official.
CONDITIONS
Sleeve
The are some wearing on the top right corner (were the ‘2’ from U” should be, although it seems this was cut out from the actual pressed sleeve), and low left corner.
Front cover has also a sort o ‘misaligned’ glued part between the two parts, at the bottom seam.
Spine is also worn; some ring wear and shelf wear, especially on back cover. On the back, there’s is also a part in which black ink seemed not to have spread evenly as in the other part (due probably of the paper not being virgin).
All in all VG+ front and VG the back
Vinyl.
It seems in a very well kept o not played at all conditions
There are one hairlines shelf wear, but nothing major. EX+
